Getting Here<\/h2><\/div>

Dorchester-on-Thames is 9 miles south of Oxford. If driving use the postcode OX10 7HH. The nearest bus stop for the village (1.4 miles away) is on the Dorchester bypass, (Dorchester Bypass stop) with buses (X39 and X40) to and from Oxford or Reading every half hour. The nearest train station is Didcot Parkway, about 5 miles from the Museum, from where you can book a taxi. Dorchester is easily accessible from the Thames Path (about a mile away) if walking or cycling.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

Opening Times<\/h2><\/div>

We open from Easter Saturday until the end of September, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holiday Mondays 2-5pm.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Cost<\/h2><\/div>

The Museum is free, but donations are welcome to help care for our collections and to create new displays and events.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Parking<\/h2><\/div>

There is no parking adjacent to the Museum. The nearest drop-off points are approximately 200 metres from the Museum. Dorchester has one free public car park in Bridge End, just across the road from the Abbey and Museum, where there are direction signs and a local map. Limited free parking is also available on Dorchester High Street, with single disabled spaces outside the White Hart Hotel and close to the George Hotel, as well as on nearby side streets.<\/p>\n<\/div>
